Something To Be Hidden (2)

Frame selection includes options for all sizes: infant, child, teen, adult, and XL fit. With an open mind to fashion trends, frames from luxury designers are always in stock, while still remembering those who prefer the oldies but goodies. We have a great variety of frames and materials including memory metal and titanium frames that are fashionable and durable. We are also mindful to keep a collection of cost effective frames in stock that are covered by most insurances.

We have designer sunglasses for contact lens wearers, as well as patients with individual prescription needs. They will protect your eyes from damaging UV light. We encourage the use of polarized lenses with anti-glare protection that reduce glare and improve performance while driving, and participating in many sports. These polarized sunglasses with or without prescriptions are available from toddler sizes on up.

Body:

Born and raised in York, I graduated from William Penn Senior High School in 2005. After spending time in the U.S. Army Reserves, I found my calling in optics. Since January 2007 I have enjoyed a career in this field, pretesting in doctor offices and working in lab manufacturing. My true passion is glasses, and, as an ABO Certified Optician, I enjoy finding the best frames to fit each individual patient. I bring my knowledge of lens designs and treatments to each consultation, so that patients are completely pleased with the results. I look forward to continuing to learn more about optics. In April 2013, I helped to open York Eye Optical, and what I love most is working in an environment where I can give personal time to each patient. Outside of work I enjoy the perks of motherhood with my daughter, who is in first grade, and playing volleyball when I have free time.
